CONCORD POINT PARK: Bicentennial Lafayette’s Tour Concert & Fireworks

On July 29, Lafayette Visits Havre de Grace on the last leg of his Farewell Tour!
Enjoy a pleasant evening with Lafayette along the beautiful Havre de Grace riverfront and end your day with an amazing Fireworks display!

• FUZZIES slingin’ burgs to fuel the fun!

• At 7:00, follow the crowd to Concord Point Park (352 Commerce Street, Havre de Grace, MD) for a concert, live music and FIREWORKS!

• Enjoy Tyler Diaz’s interpretation of the music of Francis Johnson, an African American composer who wrote music for Lafayette’s tour and whose band performed in Havre de Grace in the 1840s. Diaz will present a concert on the stage at the  Park from 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

• A brass group—The Big Green Machine—will play
  compositions by Francis Johnson at the nearby Concord Point Lighthouse.

• Enjoy live music from No Boundaries, food vendors, and children’s activities at this site as well as you wait for dusk and FIREWORKS!
